NoFeeNest is a free, read-only directory of no-broker-fee, by-owner rental listings across 13 US cities — currently 114,342 no-fee listings, refreshed daily. The goal is simple: help renters skip the broker fee (often 12–15% of annual rent, or one month's rent) by surfacing places posted directly by owners.
NoFeeNest works like Craigslist: machines crawl public listing sources every day, normalize and de-duplicate the results, classify which ones are genuinely no-fee, and flag obvious scams. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, and no human in the loop running it. Every listing links straight to its original post — contact happens there, and NoFeeNest never handles messages or payments.
A listing is marked no fee when it is posted by an owner with no broker commission, or when the text explicitly says so (e.g. "no fee", "by owner"). Rooms and sublets are treated as no-fee by default since they are almost always owner-posted. When the source is ambiguous and doesn't confirm it, the listing is not labeled no-fee.
Listings are auto-flagged with a caution or likely-scam badge using simple heuristics — prices far below the local median, classic scam phrasing, or requests for off-platform payment. NoFeeNest verifies nothing. Always confirm details in person and never wire money or pay a deposit before touring.
The site is supported by optional affiliate links to services renters use after they find a place (insurance, movers, internet, furniture). It charges landlords nothing and never sells listings.
